So who is this Jacqstar person?
Welcome to Jacqstar Creations, I want to make beautiful things for beautiful people.
Everything I do is a one of a kind, as each person out there is an individual and deserves something unique.
My name is Jacqui. I’m from the beautiful Brisbane Australia, and have lived here all my life.
I’m an ex-teacher who quit after one year and took up a temporary job in retail until I figured out what I wanted to do. That was 1990 and I still haven’t figured out what I want to be when I grow up!
I’ve been singing since I started talking, and as an adult have become involved in community theatre, where I get to dress up in silly costumes, pretend to be someone else and sing and dance in front of hundreds of people. I love to entertain people and make them smile, both on stage and off.
My mother taught me to knit when I was about 7 and as a child I was always making something, knitting, crocheting, needlework, I gave everything a go. In recent years I’ve rekindled my love of craft and have taken up painting and crocheting with a passion, and thus blossomed Jacqstar Creations.
I want to make beautiful things for beautiful people. Everything I do is a one of a kind, as each person out there is an individual and deserves something unique.

I believe in making sustainable choices for my business and my life. My packaging is made from old knitting and crocheting patterns, and I strive to use Eco friendly and guilt free materials as much as I can. I put my heart into everything I create with the intention of making something to make you feel loved, and to inspire you to be your unique self.
